It seems like every afternoon my son's body temperature rises, and he gets exasperatedly HOT. Is this normal for a 15 yr. old teenage boy?

Could be all the hormones that a fifeen year old boy has raging through his body, but I would talk to his doctor and maybe insist they check hormone levels. Just to be sure he is not having to much estrogen running through his body, better to catch any imbalance before it causes any physical changes.

Everyone so far is right talk to his doctor. Hormone checks are a good thing because he could be out of balance. He could also be showing signs of Type 1 or Type 2 diabetis. Are there any other signs or symptoms that are present with these hot flashes. If he is drinking several gallons of water or needing to urinate all the time take him straight to the doctor, this is a huge sign for diabetis whether it is type 1 or 2. I hope that this helps.

Testosterone (male hormone) is fluxing in his body right now, which os what causes hot flashes in post-menopausal women (because they don't make enough estrogen to mask the testosterone.) It could be that he is producing more than usual right now.

Check his temperature to make sure he is not actually running fever. But a blood test would be a good idea to make sure there isn't something else going on with other hormones such as thyroid hormone or insulin.

Hot flashes can also be a sign of Type II Diabetes, so you might ask his doctor to run a glucose test on him also.
