My 16 year old son has been missing for about a week the police and others are involved and been looking for him well they think it was a kidnapping and all of a sudden his father my ex has disappeared off of the face of the earth. But I have this gut wrenching feeling my sons girlfriend is somehow involved because she doesn’t want to cooperate with the police at all! I don’t really know what I am asking you all just I guess venting I am so scared and I feel so helpless and I don’t know what to do!

Thank God he has been found! Is he OK? What in the world happened to your son? May God be with your family, comforting you and healing your son.

He is in stable condition and is doing alright. Apparently he was beat and stabbed and left for dead.

wow!! Scarey!! Why do you think they have something to do with this? Let them know (the ex&girlfriend) that all you want to know that he is SAFE!! The police aren't there to fix disputes with Ex spouses. Maybe see if Child Services can help!! My wishes of Luck are with you as are everyone who is.

Well at least you now know where he is. I am sorry he was found in such bad condition. Is he well enough to talk and tell you what happened? My heart aches for you and your family and I will continue to pray for him. Keep us updated.

Have you checked facebook accounts...I know it's no comparison to when my son was 17 and chose not to live at home, I knew for the most part where he was staying, but I still checked his facebook, myspace, school attendance so I knew he was ok..Prayers he comes home soon!

I would start texting his picture to every one I know and asking it to be forwarded to anyone they know. Kinda like an Amber Alert. I would think that his girlfriend would want to coroperate with the authorties and help bring him home. I would be so lost and have no idea what to do other than look for him. I can only imagine what this has been like for you and will pray for his safe return. Call your local news channel and ask if they would give you 15 seconds to put his pic on news. Good luck and may god be with him and help him find his way home!

Have you heard from him? I'd hope that he didn't go to his fathers, in that case...

I feel for you and hope it all works out well. I know it will. My son stayed away the other night at his friends, because I was so furious with him over an incredibly bad and irreversible decision he had made. He was mad and trying to get back at me by staying away. I am sure the police will get to the bottom of it very soon. And what's with his girlfriend?? Why won't she cooperate? She knows something. Maybe he told her ahead of time. If he was in danger then she would be worried too.

No he is the overly cautious type hasn't ever done anything risky or stupid and that's whats got me so insanely worried.
