I had a runaway try to hide in my sons room. Zack kept him talking while I called the cops. Harboring a runaway is a felony according to the officer that picked him. Turd stole my 10 yos bike

According to the NRS website, the boyfriend could be charged with 'harboring a run away'.
Running away is not illegal and is considered, in general, a status offense. Parents are allowed to file runaway reports which are entered in a national Police database. Generally speaking, when a Youth come into contact with Police, the Youth is returned home without facing any criminal charges. Runaway reports are generally removed from the national law enforcement database upon the minor reaching his or her 18th birthday. Harboring a runaway is a possible charge that those could face for abiding or harboring a minor.
I hope this helps!

It depends on how old she is. Under 18 is a minor and you can report her missing.
My niece ran away with her boyfriend (he was 21 she was 15) and my sister reported her missing, she stayed 'missing' for 2 months until the police found her, they arrested her boyfriend and was going to take her home...but then she said that she was going to 'kill herself if they took her back home' and so they took her to McDermott where she stayed for a few weeks, then was released.
