I love trying different face masks! The best one I have tried is the Citrus Clear Pore & Blackhead Mask. Its great for blackheads, pore shrinking, and anti aging. It has a cool tingly feeling to it when applied and the smell is nice too. This dries in about 20 mins depening how thick u put it on. The mask does have great suction to it. My face seems softer after using it.

Hi Lori, we are going try a prescription for Cephalexin, for my 14 year old son, he has it very bad! also rinse face with gentle cleanser not soap, and rinse with the coldest water he can stand on his face, the warm water opens pores the cold will close them back up so bacteria can't grow. also try in the organic section of your local store, they have some good products to.

My son stopped using Proactive last week. At his last doctor appointment, he was give a script for an antibiotic. Now he just washes his face with regular soap and uses this antibiotic on places that tend to break out - it works wonders and cost $1.40 a month!

Have him put a thin layer of elmers glue on his face advoid any hairs it will rip it off let it dry & peel off you will see it will work have him do it 2 times a week once you see it working go down to once a month

And remember: Keep hair off of face and wash that pillowcase and/or change it as often as you can!

Pure organic honey is a natural solution for acne. You apply it and let it sit over night. Honey kills germs that cause acne.

A better diet is key but a mix of cinnamon and honey really works wonders! Just mix honey into the cinnamon to make a paste. Use it as a mask and within a week you will see the difference.

For my daughter and myself I have found a great product that is very cheap $5.99 at the local pharmacy. It is called acne free. My skin isn't too bad, but im prone I guess to the occasional break out. My daughter is 14, when she doesn't use it she does break out a little. We have used Proactiv and I find this to work better and be a cheaper alternative.

My 16 year old had BAD acne. We got 2 prescriptions from his doctor. Minocycline ( a pill, 2 times a day) and tazorac ( a cream, once a day). It works wonders! I can tell when he runs out and doesn't tell me to re-order it. Hope that helps!

The problem I had with my son is that no matter what I bought he would not use it all the time. At first he would use it and then stop, after a while it just cleared up on his own. The products that we found that worked are Acnefree (over the counter) and he did take acutane for awhile, but it is very expensive.

Proactive works pretty well for our son, when he uses it correctly. There is an extra strength formula if the original formula doesn't work.
