Anyone had their teenager on Roaccutane for skin

My 13yr old daughter has been on roaccutane for 6mths now and it has cleared her skin so beautifully but I think the medication has made her appetite increase as she has picked up so much weight.
Have any of you experienced this whilst your child was on the meds.
The doctor has put her on the pill {yazz} as well as it is a prerequisite of the prescription even though my daughter is not sexually active.
Is she just picking up weight because teenagers eat too much or is it the medication/pill.
Those of you whose kids have been on this - do they lose their weight easily afterwards.

I am not too sure they probably do though. It is a fabulous product to be honest all my friends are using it and my gf who had scars on her legs from surgery has been using it for 2 weeks not and her scars are almost all gone and wil be permanately gone.

Hi Kristin - I googled skincerity and it does looks like a fab product - I don't think this product is available in South Africa though - do you know if they ship internationally.

I was on this drug as a teen and it cleared up my skin also but gave me side effects as I grew older, beware, there is actually some legal stuff against accutane due to side effects.

I have found a new product called Skincerity that clears up wrinkles, scars, acne and various other skin problems. It is fairly easy to use just apply at night and remove in the morning. You will notice results withn a week and there is not weight gain nor is it a prescription. Look it up on google and see what it can do for you. As for your daughters weight gain did she gain a lot while on the drug? If so it could be from the drug. Teens do eat a lot but they should also not gain weight rapidly. My 16 yr olds son eats like a horse and doesnt gain a pound, hes a bean pole tall and skinny lol I wish. But if you are concerned with her weight gain try taking her off the prescription and see if she loses weight or get her to be more active (easier said than done I know as teenagers tend to be lazy or at least mine is lol) But honest to god try the skincerity product even for yourself it works awesome...
