i'm turning 13 soon and me and my mum have been thinking for a while of what to do in the party so my mum said have a sleepover party and then i had an idea to have one of those candy thingy when there is a heart or something made out of sweets and then i had an other idea to have a limo and we put that all together and it was a blast we had a ride in the limo around town and to the nearest hall and we had a sweet buffet there then we went home and some of my friends went home but some stayed and we had an awesome sleepover party we had karaoke and then we watched a film and then we all made ice cream Sundays 1 o clock in the morning (mum was mad) then we went off to sleep and the next day my mum treated us and took us to the nearest Indore pool with slides and all that and then we went home after all that and i was so happy because my friends said that my party was the best ever ! so mabye try that for your teenager girl x

String Christmas lights around the room and dim or turn off the main lights.
Scatter disposable cameras around the room for guests to use. Collect the cameras at the end of the party and see what develops!
Create a curtain for the party room's doorway with streamers. Create a streamer chandelier by grouping a bunch of colors together in the middle of the ceiling and then draping them out to the corners of the room.
Serve a variety of candy like jelly beans, M&Ms, gum drops, licorice and lollipops in glass jars.
Notebooks or stationary with a cool pen with a thank you note inside.
Send your guests out in teams to find a list of objects from around town. The first team back can win a cool prize.
Glow Sticks are always fun!

should do a sweets party every tween or teen loves candy have pots of candy then have sundaes which you can can for the sundaes make your own each teen makes their own and you can have vanilla and chocolate ice cream then whip cream and chocolate sauce then let them top it with their choice of candy. Another idea is a chevron party (chevron is a print) right now chevron is very in for teens. So have chevron plates straws and still do sundaes also at night have a party glow in the dark have music and popcorn and even you can have an outdoor movie theater .

this weekend i am turing 14 and I'm having about 12 of my closest friends over for a small party. I'm going to have it start at 7:00 and go till 10:00. I think this is a good length so we don't get board, and its not to short to where we have to squeeze things in. for activities we will probably play a couple games of volleyball which should 45 minutes, cut some t-shirt into tank tops and then use iron of transfer paper to put designs or pictures we print from the internet on our shirts (you can learn and see were i got this idea from at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awm3L9zkyvM ) which should also take about 45 minutes, and then we are gonna play just dance 4 which is always a great time and takes about an hour. :) then we will spend the last 30 minutes eating dinner (pizza, chips, veggie tray, etc.), cake, talking, and just hanging out. hope this helped everyone! xo and happy party planning!

Listen I'm turning 14 & I don't want my mom to be down my throat with now we do this, & this, & this now. CALM DOWN & LET YOUR HAIR DOWN! If you party & have fun, then so will the girls! Then again, you don't want to be to whatever do whatever, have SOME things planned. I went to a party last week, she turned 15 & we went to the mall, & had a Search for certain things in the Mall, then hung out, watched the Hobbit, & went to her house to just chill, & eat cake and ice cream! It was a blast! I'm going to do the same thing! TRY IT.

Hi, I'm 13 and am having a birthday in a few days. I am planning my own party; and need some fun activities that I could do during the party. It is going to be at my house and mostly outside. We are having a hayride and going to a haunted trail later that evening but I have no clue what to do while everyone is at the party.

Planning a party for a 13 year old is really challenging. You have to plan a party that impresses her as well as her friends.Teenagers are very demanding and would want to celebrate their birthday as they want. The best way is to consult your soon to be teen and ask her what she wants on her birthday. One theme that comes to my mind about teenage parties is Monster High. You can have a sleepover or simply an afternoon party. Here are some Monster high party ideas that will help you.

Sharon, she is 13 and I guess smart enough to tell you what she wants. She can help you plan the celebrations the way she wants. Talk to her and ask her what she wants, what her friends would like, ask her if she wants a sleepover or if she wants to visit the adventure park with her friends and have a party there. Find out if she is willing to go for a movie with her friends followed by a dinner. Only she can help you plan a party that she would love.

You can talk with her about it. You could make a sleepover, with some new movies, popcorn, make up and if its warm go to the pool.

I know what it's like to be faced with this type of problem. I have a sixteen year old son, and a fourteen year old daughter. When my daughter turned thirteen she had a masked ball themed party. It was sophisticated yet a lot of fun at the same time. Everyone wore evening dresses and masks. We played a great range of the latest music and everyone enjoyed dancing. It gave the girls an opportunity to dress up and dance. My daughter was really happy with the result of her birthday party. For her fourteenth this year, she is having a friend sleepover. A much lower-key party but just as enjoyable. If you are still lost for party ideas and the cost is too much, you can always turn to a reliable sleepover with a true friend. Best of luck!

For my 13th birthday, I went to my 2nd house in Santa Cruz, California. I took 4 friends, and we drove on a friday, got there around 6, went to dinner and then went back to my place for Karaoke, cake, and presents. The next day, we went to the Santa Cruz Beach and Boardwalk, (witch is a theme park) and had a load of fun. All my friends brought about $20 with them so it didn't cost my mom and dad a lot. Another fun idea is to clear out a basement or garage, and have a black light karaoke party. Everyone brings glow sticks and draws on themselves with highlighters, it's a blast, and barley costs anything. Hope this helped!!!

Ok so i am turning 13 and mom thought i had a good idea so she let me post it.. ok so here is how it goes. If you are at a wedding party for the bride you might make a wedding dress out of toilet paper well for a birthday party you can do the same thing only each of you make each other a "party dress" out of either wrapping paper or tissue paper. Then take pictures! it will be awesome!

I have a daughter who recently turned 14. For her party she had a scavenger hunt with her friends around town! It was a blast! Basically, when the guests arrived we split them into 3 teams with 4 kids on each team. The girls started the party in the park decorating team shirts with fabric markers, sharpies, and other decorating supplies. Then, I gave them each a pre-typed scavenger hunt list. They had one hour to complete as much as they could off the list and meet me back at an ice cream parlor nearby. Each team had a camera (most had phones or ipods with cameras) and a video camera to record all the tasks they completed. Some of the things on the list included... hug an employee at a store, do the hokey pokey in public, sing Christmas carols outside a Christmas store (it was april), and other silly tasks that involved them to interact with the community. They had a blast! When we got to the icecream place we proceeded with icecream and presents. As we ate we watched the videos and pictures. The winning team members received a small gift bag which I stuffed with nail polish, lip balm, and candy. My only tip for this would be to make sure you have a safe area. We had a walking outdoor mall so they didn't have to cross any streets! Set limits on where they can go or have a chaperone with them! Hope this helped!

I have a teen who is turning 13 and I thought about spa party. One does not have to go over a budget if doing it at home and if planned in advance.

I'm turning 15 in two months... and I need some fun party ideas. I'm totally stuck on what to do, there's only going to be like 10 people there. But for the last few years, I've been doing like and spa type thing at my house and then a sleepover. Last year I went to a hotel, we had a blast but my mom said I need something a little less expensive this year. So I would like to do something fun. Should I go somewhere, or should I have the party at my house? What kind of things should I have planned. I want to watch some movies but I don't want my guests to get bored. I want it to be a day people will remember. If you guys have any ideas, I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me out! If I just end up having a sleepover, what kind of things should I have planned. Should I have games? Should I give away little gift bags? I don't know!!

I just wrote my ideas here in circleofmoms:

My oldest daughter is 13, for her Birthday we had pirate party with eye patches and torn shirts. And it was not very expensive. You can find some ideas for themed parties on internet, for example here: http://scarlettentertainment.com/news-bl...
