I had to pull my 10 YR son out of school the last couple of weeks due to severe bullying issues. The school did nothing about this - despite repeated contacts. The principal even started ignoring us. He will go to middle school this year and I am hoping for a better time as he will be changing classes etc. I don't want to talk "ahead of time" as I don't want to look like to parent with issues or problems. My son has diffcultites making and keeping friends - almost like a social austim. He very smart. We have had him on ADD, depression and aleep meds and now we seem like he is doing better. Any suggestions??

If the school won't do anything then you need to take this to the police! People forget that this is an option! I would first contact the parents of this bully and if that didn't work I would go to the local police to help. If he is going to the same school next year this will probably continue so I would talk to my child about this and each of his teachers as well. Although the "school" doesn't seem to care there are teachers who feel strongly about this issue and will do something to stop it. Good luck.
