I am also new at this, but wanted to say that I am glad to not be alone in the world of multiple children. I have 3 boys,14, 11, 10 and one girl, 7. I thought it was a good idea to have them close together. I did not realize I would be raising them as a single parent and just in time for the teen years. The oldest 2 get along better these days, but when they are all together nobody gets along. The 11 year old has hit the pre teen attitude and the 7 year old has her emotional breakdowns. What would life be without this rollercoaster?

I know what you mean, Kelly! I have 3 girls, 14, 12, and 5. When the older 2 go thru their "teenage" moments - attitude, sighs, eye-rolling - I sometimes wonder why they have to get older and want them to go back to 5yrs old, it seemed so much easier! That is, until the 5-yr old doesn't want to go to bed or cries because we are making her eat all of her dinner! I just have to remember that they each will go thru all the different stages and when they get on my nerves - I just remind myself to be thankful that they are healthy and good kids in the big picture!

You are a busy Mom! Mine get along most of the time. They do better when it is just the 2 of them, but if one or both have a friend there is sometimes showing off. If there is just 1 neighbor kid over that is sometimes a bad mix. They have definatley gotten better as they have aged :)
