My 14 year old daughter is 4' 5" and only weighs 62lbs. and in the 8th grade. I really need ideas for clothing that doesn't make her look like she is only in the 6th grade like most people think. Is there anywhere that I can buy clothing that doesn't make her look childish or too adult? Size 0 is to big around the waist, is there such a thing of size 00?

I'm not sure if others have already given the same answer that I'm about to give because I didn't read the prior posts but I have two daughters ages 14 and 12 (both in middle school), their fave stores to shop are Delia's, Aeropostale and Forever 21. All of these stores sell cute clothes for your daughter's size. My 6th grader wears a size 1. My 8th grader wears a larger size but I've seen 0's in the above stores mentioned. They shop there because they use their own money and it's affordable for them and definitely not childish. Other stores that sell nice clothes for her age but are a little pricey in my opinion are Hollister, Abercrombie and Fitch, American Eagle, Charlotte Russe, etc. Hope this helps. Happy Shopping!

Aeropostle also has P.S. Aeropostle, which is basically the same stuff, just smaller sizes, if the 00 don't fit. I've also found some cute 00 at Target and Walmart, believe it or not. Obviously they won't be Hollister quality but ours have lasted a school season at least. My daughter isn't snotty or entitled but she also won't wear something that looks cheesy or "ghetto" if I may quote her, speaking of the Walmart stuff. ; )

Aeropostale has a 00 super skinny slim fit. My daughter wears them most stores have them not just online.

Old Navy's website has a tween section on their website. I'd also recommend checking out Gap's girl's section. The pants at Gap look like kid sized versions of their women's pants. That's where I look for clothes for my almost 11 year old who is a similar height and weight and who is way over anything little girl-ish.

definitely the teen section in the petites.... that is your best bet. looking online is a good way

Yes, there is a size 00...I wore it when in middle school. Rocky mountain jeans most commonly have that size, but also check out cruel girl brands.
As far as the rest, shop in the teen section, but in the petite sizes. They'll have the same stylish clothing, but in sizes that your daughter can wear.
