i am 16 year old with a 1 year old daugter my friend said i can get my daugter dad for child support but my mom dont want to bec he would go to jaul my question is if he gose to jail for child support but dont get a job will i still get money for him bein in jail

I'm sorry that you're goin thru that. You'll only get child support if he is working and paying it. They won't put him in jail right away, they'll let him get behind quite a bit before they resort to that. Then, they'll order the support to come directly out of his check. I would definitely go for child support. But don't get your hopes up, it will most likely be a constant struggle to get anything from him. Your best bet is to just be the best mommy you can be for your little one and be grateful for the support of your mother. You'll need it for sure! Good Luck!

yea its hard and the stuff im goin there is hard he have not came and see her in 5 month wen we broke up and he broke up with me for some chick is hurtfull i have to be a mom at 16 and he cant be a dad at 19 but u know wat i got the best gift out of him and she is right beside me sleep i love her with all my heart she is momma lil girl

from MY exp.... if he will not get a job and pay then he will go to jail but you will only get money if somebody bonds him out..... my daughters "doner" (father) owes us almost 200 thousand i think it is 198,685 and when he gets picked up he sits there for 30 days an they drop the amount from a high number 10 grand i think down to 1,000 and when he gets bonded out THEN i get that..... you should always try to get support.... dont forget that you didnt MAKE your baby girl all by your self you SHOULDNT have to do everything on your own.... i was your age when i had my daughter and 18 months and 1 day later i had my second daughter i would not trade my girls for the WORLD but i would have went for my support alot earlier if i had know i could... i was clueless....
