Our youngest son is almost 16 years old and he is only 5'2". Yes, we hope he grows more, but if not it is OK. There are smaller people on both my side and my husbands side of the family, so he may not get very tall. But, it is funny how genetics work.....our oldest son (almost 20) is 5'11", our middle son (18) is 5'9", and our youngest is currently standing proud at 5'2". :)

you feed him the same things you feed a son that is 6 foot tall and still growing! My 16 year old is only 5'5" but guess what? We are all shorter on my side and tall on my husbands side of the family..he took after my side! Who cares?

Padmaja, your son is going to be the height that he's genetically supposed to be. You cannot make him taller than his genetic make up will allow him to be.

If you are from a tall family, it's most likely that you will be tall, but not guaranteed.

Most males don't reach full height until their mid twenties, actually. My brothers both hit a growth spurt around their 24th birthday.

calcium and protien are good, he may have another growth spurt at around 18, but there is nothing wrong with being height impared
