Okay, my 17 year old at home DOES NOT like wearing his pants. Okay, yes he does wear his underwear, but I do have a friend over. I don't know what to do for him to get his pants on. I don't like it and it's kind of embarrassing. At occasion he tends to grab his crotch or something and it's very disturbing. Someone help me....

My initial thought was to remove all of his pants from the house for a day or two. leave the house and see if he will treasure his pants upon your return
Or ask him if he wants you dressing crazy when you go to his school for whatever reason. If he has friends over, dress wild and be sure he sees you. Loud makeup, tight clothes, whatever will embarrass him. : )
Seriously though, I could not ignore it.
My son did this a few times. I suppose he got tired of hearing me tell him to put on some clothes. He could not go into the kitchen or den unless he had on pants, staying in his room probably got old to him.

LOL i think all teenage kids are piss offs at one point or another. He may be doing it just to get a rise out of you as well, try ignoring him. I will be sure to check out your profile.

Oh thank you Kristin. I also read your comment on my other post, so I'll be sure to keep those things in mind. About this situation...it definitely bothers me, I'll make sure next time i have company that he put his stuff AWAY! lol :)

LOL too funny. I would simply sit your son down and tell him it is not appropriate to wear boxers when you havew company over. My ex husband used to walk around the house in boxers all the time, he just didnt care what peoplke thought. My 16 yr old wear his boxers around the house all the time and when we have company over he has to put pants on or shorts. Lots of people walk around their homes in underwear (mainly men) lol but you just need to set some guidelines.
