Good Morning,
I was wondering if there are any Mothers struggling with their teens who live in Oz. I have two teenage daughters 13 and 15 as well as a three month old. Look forward to hearing from Aussie mums who also want to offload their frustrations, I am happy to listen.

I have a 16, only real problems are swearing, mostly at his xbox and such games and some attitude. Nat has a deformed foot and shorten leg, learning "problems" and scoliosis. He is an only child.

Hey Karen, I've got 3 teens, all boys, 13,15 & 18. Not really struggling, just adapting to life changing as my boys milestones manifest, change & come to fruition. Every day holds new experiences, that I'm loving/hating. Biggest frustration is the attitude, but I'm not the first, won't be the last lol!!

I asked for teens in Australia as the ones overseas appear to be more extreme behaviour problems than what I am experiencing with my eldest daughter. I like your suggestion of quality time together and will organise that with her asap. Thank you for that.

I will say this though, my mother advised me to always make sure my eldest girl and I had one day a week for just us. Bringing another child or in my case 2 children, into the world when you already have a teenager. My eldest and I had a Thursday evening quality time together, going to the pictures or just out to dinner, just hanging out and having fun together. So she never had the chance too feel I was all wrapped up in her sibblings and no time for her anymore due to the demands of time spent on her baby brother and sister. This also enabled her too feel not left out and enjoy her baby siblings. This helped her and I develope a bonding closeness that we still have today. She is also the one the two youngest look up to and love spending quality time with.

I have kids the first two have 13 years between them. The two yougest have 13 months between them. Ages now are 29, 16, 14. Years. I have never ever had a struggle with any of my kids and am wondering why you have asked too discuss teens in australia when you havent mentioned what area's you may or may not be having teen issues?
