Should my teen daughter wear crop tops, bikinis, short shorts.
Should she put make up and nailpaint.

I had the same debate when my 14yo daughter insisted on a thong bikini this past summer because all her friends were getting them. In the end I was glad I allowed her to have it as indeed, all her friends DID have one and she would have felt embarrassed to be the odd girl out. Girls are so sensitive to peer pressure that so long as it's not harmful, why not allow her to be like the others?

I definitely think it would be ok at that age. She has nothing to be ashamed of and if she’s confident then help and encourage her.

Hello,
I don't think anyone else can answer this question for you. We can all leave our comments on how we believe your daughter should act and certainly there is something said for being conservative, but you are her parent. Raise her in the way you see fit and instill in her self-respect and help her see that she is beautiful without all of those things. However, with that being said, as a girl, I know that I enjoy getting my nails done, and putting on make up. I would just encourage you to help her see that she is just as valuable without all of that as she is with it.

I think there is a lot to be said about modesty. Going shopping in today's world is scary. Everything is so reveling and low-cut. I guess you need to make house rules and stick to them. My daughter is 11, she wears mascara now and then, but her clothes are always modest. I make it a point to let her know that her beauty is much deeper than what is seen from the outside, and sometimes, reveling more makes her outward appearance less beautiful. I found a wall hanging with this verse on it and hung it on her wall. “It is not fancy hair, gold jewelry, or fine clothes that should make you beautiful. No, your beauty should come from inside you –the beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit. That beauty will never disappear and it is worth very much to God.” — 1 Peter 3:3-4

Depends on your daughter. How old is she? Nothing reallly wrong with a bikini.
