I have a question to put out to all moms out there. What are your thoughts regarding teenagers being able to have parties at their homes and parents buying booze for them. I live in British Columbia and our drinking age is 19. My son is 18 and many of the parties that his friends have are where parents have allowed the kids to drink.... What are your thoughts on the subject. He is finishing grade 12 this spring. He is also a good kid who has never come home drunk, never drinks and drives (really) and is pretty responsible. He also seldomly goes to parties, but the end of the school year is arriving fast and I know this will become an issue. Thoughts?

You just said drinking age is 19, mostly likely there will more underage kids there. all you need is for someone to make one bad choice (which is easy when your drinking) and you could lose everything. why ask for trouble! he is 18 what is one more year or less. Don't do it.
