TALK TALK TALK! Obviously it too late to preach abstinence but it is not too late to promote safety. If/when one of my 3 daughter makes this decision we'll be heading to the gyno for an exam and birth control and the store for condoms. I has my son at 16 they can do math so while I do not condone it I will not condemn it either. Keep the lines of communication open. My step daughter pretty much tells me everything - I know this because of what she tells me if she had something to hide or leave out she wouldn't talk to me about the things she has told me. And I answer her honestly and openly - if I don't her friends, the internet, or someone/something else will. I'd rather her get the info from me where I can also incorporate the benefit of my experience (pros and cons). And if this was one of my sons I'd do the same thing...if the girls parents weren't interested or open w/ her I'd offer her the same relationship I have with my daughters.

I think alot depends on the maturity of the child and the seriousness of the relationship. With my dd and her bf we all had a long talk about it and they understand how to be safe. I have accpeted the fact that they are in a serious relationship and are sexually active. Many of us adults had sex as teens and it doesn't always have to be a bad thing if the kids are mature and responsible.

It depends on you. I would not stop it, but I wouldn't make it easy for it to happen. My daughter isn't allowed to have boys over when I'm not home, she may do it anyways. I've taught her right from wrong, now I have to let her think for herself. I have told her where to find condoms in the home, they are there because if she's going to do that, she needs to have them close at hand.
I'm reasonably certian that my daughter is a lesbian, I don't have a rule about having girls over when I'm not home, she may be having sex, although I doubt it, but another girl won't get her pregnant
