my daughter is 13 and im thinking about letting her go with a close girl friend... im kinda scared though...

13 should be fine. I let both mine go at that age.

I agree with Alex and Heather. As long as they are picked dropped off and picked up by a parent and advised to stay together, I was comfortable letting my daughter go with a friend. She is 15 now also.

My daughter is 13 and I let her go with a group of friends to the movies. However, I usually drop them off and pick them up only because we are in a rural area and the movie theater is 15 miles away.

My daughter is a pretty good kid and I let her go to the movies with a (girl) friend and she was probably about 13. Everything went fine and she's 15 now. =)
