I saw the conversation about sharing links and book titles. The site www.kidsbesafeonline.com and the booklet "Dangerous Trends Concerning Kids, Technology, and the Internet" have been enlightening to me recently. I learned about and have since begun using a kid safe browser and search engine, which has been very helpful. Lots of good info... I was socially awkward as a gifted kid and could see where cyber-bullying and some of these other trends might have affected me, too. I hope this helps someone else as well.
