4yr old son in labour room help!!!!!

sorry thats right c-section lol gee iam a cluts ..what about a baby sitter? or asking the hospital for help see if they ahve any advice .why do you ahve to have a c-section is it a planned one or is there complications ?

iam not having a c-section but iam having the same problem indeed all my family is in portugal living and my hubbys family refuses to help.iam due to ahve numbber 6 in 9 weeks and i may have to be induced .i dont have baby sitters available as most cant look after my son with autism so iam in a pickle.so i have decide to rent a hotel next to the hospital so when i get induced hubby is right near till the last minute until the call him then he is bringing all the kids adn they can wait in the waiting room. have you though of having your boy with you in the room to watch the labour ?

all my kids have watched each other be born and they have become more close thanks to them being there and it helps to explain where babies come from but i gues that depends on teh child .i have them watch labours on tv so they get used to the doctors and i take mine to all the ultrasounds and doctors appointments but iam not a huge screamer till the last minute.this tme around iam having my youngest who is 2 to watch her sister be born .

When I had my second child, my son was actually in the delivery room with us. I went into labor right on my due date and my closest relative was an hour an a half away, by the time my planned sitter arrived I was mid-delivery. Thankfully I went into labor at 11:45pm and my son slept through most of the labor, but my midwife said that atleast 10% of her pateints have older children in the delivery room with the parents. If it comes to that the staff at the hospital should be prepared for your son, as long as you talk to you doctor ahead of time. I wish you all the best and hope you have a stress-free planned c-section.
