Glucose screening test

Just got results for my glucose screening test and my levels are a bit high. Am going back next week for a glucose tolerance test to check further. I'm not overly worried as I don't have any risk factors and even if it does come back high, gestational diabetes is very treatable. Though, I would miss my sweets for the next three months!

Just wondering if anyone else has ever gotten a high result from the screening test and how often it turns into a GD diagnosis???

Yep! I had to repeat the test with my 1st pregnancy & this pregnancy. Both came back fine. And no GD. And I do have high risk factors in my family. It's quite normal to have it come back a bit high after the 1 hr glucose test.
