My son was only 8 months old when I found out I was having another one! He is now 1 and I am 5 months pregnant. They will be 17 months apart. I am the only one who has kids this close?! Everytime I see a woman with a young child and pregnant I always say "whoo, thank goodness other people do it too!"

My oldest is 8 and my second son is 13 months, the baby was about 5 months or so we figure when I found out I was pregnant again. We were beastfeeding only so it shocking.

My son is 11 months old and I am almost 8 months pregnant with my daughter =D
It happens some are planned and some are not so planned..Lol!

I have 4 kids! my first two are 14months and 1 day apart my middle two are 12months and 6 days apart and my younger two are almost 21months apart 3 of my friends had babies at similar times. So you are not alone

Hi. well don't feel bad.. my oldest son was 6m when I found out I was pregnant again.. he is now 20m and my newest little boy boy is 6m.. they are just about 15m apart! It can be hectic yes, but at the same time it's great that they can grow up together and be close :) Good Luck! xxx

I'd like to know how mommies with multiple children LESS than 2 years apart in age do it? I have a 15 month old son who will be 16 1/2 months when our little daughter is born. How do you do it with two that close led alone 3, 4 or 5 kids?

NO. I'm right there with you. I'm 34 weeks pregnant and I have a 15 month old so I expect them to be 16 1/2 months apart. My husband and I planned a spring baby around his work schedule as he is a wildland firefighter and gone during the summer months from May til November. If I hadn't gotten pregnant when I did, we were going to wait another year entirely before trying again. Now I think I'm crazy but every mother I talk to says it's hard the first couple of years...but you just get through it. I think we will be done after #2 though.

there is 5 yrs between my first and second child. 3 yrs between 2nd, 3rd, and 4th child. 14 months between 4th and 5th child and I am due inJuly with baby #6. my youngest will be 20 months old when this one is born. God sure does keep it interesting.

i am preg with twins numbers 5/6 . my eldest turns 6 just before they arrive! the others are all singles the biggest gap i have between is 22mths it is challanging at times but very rewarding.

My brother and i are almost 14 months apart and my mother said it was easy enough until we were teenagers lol. Most people think that we would be close but we have never liked the same things so we have never had much to do with each other (most likely just the boy, girl difference thing).
As for me there is 4yrs 6mths between my first and second and there will be 3yrs 1mth between my second and when my third is due. I'm happy with how far apart my children are because it felt right to conceive them when i did.

My babies will be 20 months apart. My cousin's will be 18, I don't think it's that weird. I have a friend who accidentally got preggo right after giving birth, her children are like between 9 and 10 months apart, it's nuts, but she's happy and she didn't do it on purpose so it's whatever!

My daughter was 17 months when I conceived my second baby. I should be having the baby in March so they'll be a little over 2 years apart. I was hoping to wait till she was 18 months before getting pregnant again LOL cause my doctor says it's healthier for your body to keep em 18 months apart (time between each pregnancy after your first was born to the start of the second)

my baby girl was born on the 23rd of july 2009 my 2nd baby is due on the 19th of july 2010 so if on time there will be less than a year between them :)

I have a little girl which is 6 years old and I am 20 weeks along today. We have been trying for 4 years to get pregnant and so we decided it wasn't meant to be and then we had a shocker of news when I took the test well 4 of them and they call came back pregnant. When I have this baby there will be almost 7 years difference.
My best friend and her sister are 9 months apart..lol

there is 3 years between my first and second and that is the only break!
my second son and third son are 13 months apart! and my third son and my daughter are just 11 months apart! it is funny when i go out cause everyone always thinks my 2 younger boys are twins cause they are the same size my older one of the 2 is small for his age! i also get alot of "i dont know how you do it with them all so close?" the funniest has to be around birthday time cause they are jan. feb. and march! which makes my youngest and my next to youngest the same age for 3 weeks! that always gets a funny look! so it can be done and i wouldnt change it they are all going to be so close and they will all be starting school one after another which will be fantastic for me!

I'm curently expecting my second little one and they will be 16 months apart. Like you I find it reasuring to see others with kids that are close together. My husband was 18 months apart from his sister so is very relaxed about having our kids close to gether but my brother and I were 3 years apart so I'm still trying to get used to it.

My daughter is 2 years and 5 months and my son is 5 months. So they are exactly 11 months apart and i'm expecting another for the month of september. There is nothing wrong with having close together. Infact I prefer it that way because they will be close in age and play together easier.

My daughter was born April 27, 09 and my son is due April 9th. So they will be about 11 months apart. I would say the hardest thing is dealing with this belly and having to take care of a 9 month old (picking her up, bending over, etc..) We'll definately be waiting a few years to have another if we decide to.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. My daughter will only be 16months old when my 2nd bub is born. I was worried about telling ppl at first becuase I thought they would think I was crazy for having them so close together. But surprisingly most ppl can see the benefits in it and that makes me feel better. I think they will be great friends as they grow up together and it also means that you will get through the nappy stage at nearly the same time. Gotta love that!
