Hello im 18 and trying to have my first baby. I have been on birth control and been off since prolly around a year ago i think but does birth control slow down pregnancy? And what else can i do to get pregnant fast please help?

the first time i got pregnant was the first time my sons father and i ever had unprotected sex.. it wasnt planned we had just had a big night and didnt bother with protection.. the second time around we wernt exactlly planning the baby but i stopped taking birth control and he stopped using condoms we thought we would just see if i would get pregnant rather than planning it and about a month later (i think) i found out i was pregnant again

My first was a surprise and I got an IUD after her. We had some problems with the IUD and thought you know Another little one would be nice and I knew I always wanted my daughter to have siblings. So we set up a beach vacation about 2 months after I got The IUD taken out and about a couple days after menstruating. We found out exactly 28 days later that we had our 2nd one on our way. Our recipe was relaxation good seafood and just good timing. Good luck:)

My first pregnancy happened in 5 months and weren't trying. The second was 3 months and once again, were not trying. The third was the first few weeks of NOT trying! The fourth baby was in 6 weeks of actually TTC and the fifth was a not trying baby that i fell pregnant with when number 4 was 11 months old! So, a whole lot of not trying (while clearly not being careful!) resulting in 5 (mostly) wonderful pregnancies and five fantastic cheeky monkeys! No, seriously, I think we're breeding monkeys, these kids of ours, climb on EVERYTHING! Anyway, good luck with TTC:-)

I just found out I am pregnant with our second. We got pregnant in two cycles with the first and two cycles with the second. I was also worried it wouldn't happen as quick the second time around, but we are blessed. Good luck!!

My #1 was a complete surprise, and now my #2 was also a surprise! They will be 19 months apart when the new little one gets here in Oct.! I guess I am very fertile, which I am thankful for, I know women that try and try to have kids and cant!

two years to get my little boy dont think the stork could find me! I went on clomid fertillity tablets in the end and we concieved after 3 months. we are about to try again this year and think i will give it 3 months then request the tablets again if no news watch this space! x

We got pregnant with our son on the first try if you even want to call it a "try".  Our daughter was concieved after 2 months of trying.  We got pregnant on the first try again (miscarrage) pregnant on the 2nd month (misscarrage).   Five more months of trying and we got pregnant again and that too ended in a miscarrage.  I am now 17 weeks pregnant and this baby took three months of trying.

With my first child I went off the pill in June and was pregnant in August.  I have now been off the pill since July and still have not gotten pregnant.  I am also not on a regular cycle yet so it has been very difficult.  Good luck!

We got pregnant our 2nd try with our first and second baby.  My advice would be to always follow your ovulation calendar.  It worked for us.  Baby #2 is due June 4th 2009.

We concieved two months after our wedding day with our first. This second baby was a sorta surprise, we weren't TTC but we were not doing anything to prevent it either! I had only had two cycles after my son was born, due to nursing. They will be 22 months apart.

First two pregnancies we weren't trying, one ended at 11 weeks. My third and fourth were 11 and 13 cycles, one ending at 18 weeks. I took for granted my first pregnancy, and my second conception, but no more. Even when we aren't ttc I am charting, we are ready I already have a clear pattern to go off of.

Got pregnant first try with our first and second. We were very fortunate and blessed and don't take our fertility for granted! I watched my ovulation calendar and I also have ovulation pain so it was easy to pin point when we needed to try and to figure out when I ovulate.

We got pregnant right away the first time. Next time just as easy but had an early miscarriage. Several months later we tried again and...I'm pregnant. First try. Haha. Guess we are just really fertile! (I know it isn't always easy though. I have a friend who tried for a long time with their second even though the first was quick) Good luck!

We got pregnant without trying the first time... but that ended in m/c at 9 weeks. We tried for 6 months before #1, #2 was a total surprise (our first two are 12 months and 1 day apart), and we tried for 2 months for #3. This is our first month officially TTC this time around and we should know one way or another in the next two weeks!
