Hi. I'm new to this, so don't know the abbreviations. I had my daughter in May 2009. After 6 week check I had the Implant. But, I didn't feel it worked for me, although I'd had it in before. So had that out and went on The Pill. But didn't like it. After stopping that I had the Mirena Coil put in in June 2010.
I had my Coil taken out on Moday 30th January this year as the husband and I have decided on having another baby. The thing is I was having pre-af cramps from the Tuesday before the removal (24th Jan), so I knew af was coming within the next week. The Nurse told me I'd have a "removal bleed and cramps" on the Monday night, which I did have. But, I haven't had any more bleeding since. Tell a lie, I had some pink stuff (when I wiped) end of last week (tmi, sorry), but nothing af like. And I've had slight discomfort and aching in my lower abdomen and back, plus been tired and weeing like there's no tomorrow.
I would've been convinced that I was pregnant. But I've taken 2 preganancy tests, and they've BOTH come up Negative.
Has anyone had this? Does it usually disappoint and end up being af, or should I take another test?
