The mechanics of getting pregnant after a miscarriage are not much different than conceiving a baby at any other time, but there are some things you may want to know if you are trying to get pregnant after a miscarriage. Research show that women with low folic acid levels had a higher rate of miscarriage and were more likely to have fetuses with a chromosomal defect (one of the most common causes of miscarriage). Being in good health is one thing you can do to improve your chances of conceiving and having a healthy pregnancy. Anyway, I've bought the 'Getting Pregnant Plan by Michelle Adams e-book' from http://aboutgettingpregnant.com and after read it, it has a lot of information about boost your fertility and pregnancy stuff even if you have PCOS, hormone imbalance, after miscarriage, unknown infertility and irregular period too. Hope it helps.

Congrats! My son was born 6/17/11. We ended up using preseed and mucinex and that seemed to do the trick. No plans for #3...at least for a couple of years.

I got pregnant both times (first ended in m/c) right away so it was hard when we didn't get pregnant right away this time. Maybe it's stress that wasn't present the first time...at least that's what I'm thinking.

Well, i hate to say it, but STOP trying! It seems like when your not trying you get pregnant.
I told myself i wasnt going to be a mom, and that we werent going to have any kids, I finally came to terms with that, and found out I was pregnant.
Then I decided that if it happened a 2nd time great if not, I was lucky enough to have 1. Then I got pregnant with #2. I am due in august.
I have a lot of friends who stop trying and get pregnant the 1st try after that. I know how hard it is to want something so so much and have NO control over it. And i agree i think it is harder to concieve the 2nd time. It will happen.
Keep us posted!
Good Luck!!!

have you been tracking your ovulation? i got a 7-pack of ovulation test sticks from Walmart or Target (generic brand) when i was trying. i counted 14 days after the 1st day of my period and took a test in the mornings and at nights so i could know. if you want a girl, try as soon as you the test says you are ovulating and if you want a boy, try when the test says you aren't anymore. but girls are very fun, we have two and your little girl looks adorable. this time i went for the boy.

keep hubby away from you until you want to try, it gives his sperm more "umph".

good luck!
