My husband and I are trying to get pregnant with our 3rd child, but ever since I stopped breastfeeding my daughter a year ago, my period has been weird. over the last couple of months it's been like 37 day cycles instead of my usual 30 day cycle. We've been trying for 2 months now. Any advice? It took us 4-5 months with my daughter. Also, my deliveries are super fast , last time she was born only 5 minutes into the hospital and we traveled the 40 minute trip to the hospital in 20 minutes with only minimal traffic, through a place where it's sometimes at a stand-still. I'm afraid my only safe option is a scheduled induction this time so setting my due date accurately is crucial. The Dr's always tend to base DD on a 28 day cycle, and gave me a totally different due date for my last even though I told them differently, and guess what? She was born right on the due date I had calculated. So i'm kind of anxious over it all!

You can go online and calculate your due dates and ovulation dates based on your period and you can adjust the length of your cycles. What I did when I was ttc my daughter was examine my cervical mucus. When it looked like egg whites that's when me and my significant other had sex and sure enough I got pregnant on that day. There are also apps that you can get on your phone to let you know your fertile days and when your period will start again or you due date and like I said, you can always adjust your cycle length.
