i like names from other countries where they might not be unique there but they are here in the US. for example, one of my favorite names is Natalia...common in Russia but not here. Another name i like is from Ukraine...it's Lilia (Lilly Ah)

pick a movie or book that you love and get the name from there. if you have othr children maybe come up with a name from a couple letters from them in honour of the kids my first three start with A,J,E so for my fourth child due in sept if it a boy it will be Jae. you could also try to check out different spelling of names that fit togther like Kristina for a girl if that what i having. hope this helps but try and keep it simple so they can spell it cause my third one is gonna have fun spelling Evengaline.

My top three girl names right now are Eden, Zoie, and Layla. Though all on the top x of the girls names list, I think they're kind of unique:)

Araeya (a-ray-ya). My aunt almost named my cousin this and I have no idea where she got it but I really like it! :) Let us know what you come up with!

I love unique names. My girls are Petyl Jaylee and my next one is going to be Haylo Sofia. I found this website that had really good ideas and stuff. The site is kinda set up weird so when u go to it scroll down and on the right side it says alternative menu and then has each letter listed. I used this to get ideas and inspiration when we werent sure if it was a boy or a girl(we had girl names but no for sure boy name). anyways here is the site

my husband is really interested (ok...obsessed) with his ansestry so we drew inspiration from there. Norwegian names are weird and it took us a looooonnnnnnngggg time to agree but many other countries names are not so out there.
good luck!

what we did for our 2 boys was think of music/movies/books we like and chose characters from them for our names. often times they are unique and then u can have a cool story to tell ur kids when they ask where their name originated from.

Have you bought a baby name book or searched online? There are SO many unique names out there...Things from Macy, Piper, Peyton, Sora, Malainah, Nahlia, Diella, Adora...it just depends on which kind of unique you're looking for - and just HOW unique you want it to be...It's hard coming up with the right name. We just went through this this past week/end (I'm also 20 wks), and after much debate we were able to find something original that worked for us! Good luck!
