Hello! I've got twins girls turning 12 this coming weekend and life is getting more than a little interesting - adolescence anyone? Not only have their attitudes towards us gotten snotty and rude, but they are fighting like cats (yet they go crazy when apart for more than a few minutes). Help - anyone else in the same boat?

YES, although i don't have twins I do have a 13 and 14 year old (boys) and they get bored when not around each other, and i would imagine that twins would have a closer bond. They get into fist fights all the time, I guess my 14 year old is trying to be king of the hill or something, I tell em to stop before they get blood on my carpet, which makes them laugh. Then I tell them that what they are fighting about is dumb. and I show them a civil way to clear up things. My 14 year old who is the oldest has a mouth too, most of the time I ignore it, because being that age is hard and they need to relieve stress and I would rather them do it in my home with me verbally then whatever the alternative may be. If I don't let it slide I yell out, "Hey, watch that mouth" or I will tell them I am gonna beat him or something... which, also makes them laugh lol. But bless you for surviving twins this long! You can get through the rest
