We wait 'till the clock strikes 12 am..the kids start unwrapping their presents from me.My 7 & 5 yr. old love their presents but my 11 & 13 yr. old hate them.Every present they opened all I kept hearing was.."really mom" "wow really" "what the eff " "seriously".My heart started to ache & I held in my tears. That morning after waking up they came to tell me that that was their worst Christmas ever.I couldn't afford what was on their Christmas wish list which was an ipad, iphone, nikon professional camera, ect. Let me add that I'm a single parent with very low income.Their father who lives a few blocks away from us which they hardly ever see didn't buy them any gifts. So you'd think they'd be gratefull for what they got.I feel like such a crappy parent :[

What ungrateful little s**t's at 11 and 13 they should understand your financial situation a bit and they should know not to act like that. You tried your best and the only reason you should be feeling at all a little like a crappy parent is that you've brought up 2 kids who don't know how to act, apart from that don't beat your self up.
I'd take them to some shelter or something that shows people who have nothing! Let them see for themselves how lucky they've got it.

If you see this, leave this form field blank.

That's sounds like a good idea. There's a childrens shelter 15 minutes from where we live..I'll look into that.I love them both but I don't seem to like them most of the time? Does this make me a bad mother?
