Are you getting any sleep, and if so, how? Are they sleeping, or did they sleep, in the same crib? I have my boys in swing chairs, but I know I'm going to have to transition them to a crib eventually. Any help or advice would be much appreciated... :)

you are so lucky kelly!  my boys couldn't be more different in their sleeping habits, so it seems that i may never get the sleep i need!  i wonder if it makes a difference if they're identical or fraternal twins?  my twins look nothing alike, and seem to be different in almost every way.  i did have a minor victory last night, when one of the boys slept in the crib for 5 hours straight and then slept in the bed beside me for the rest of the night without any fuss!  i'm hopeful... :)

my twins are a month old,  i sleep them together during the day and they are really contented, they go about 4-5 hours in between each feed.  at night time they sleep separetly in moses basket as the have monitors under their mattresses that detect theere breathing jus for my piece of mind and again i give them a feed around 11.30 and the next twin straight after and i find they go between 5-6 hours so they dnt habve another till 5.00am - 6.00am, then go bac to bed till ten.  they are very contented, but always once i fed one i freed the other immediately aqfter so that way i get a long period before the next feed and manage fine.

thanks sabrina!  i'm going crazy from lack of sleep, and can't wait for them to get into some sort of routine.  seems like when one is sleeping well, the other isn't.  i'll hopefully get them into the crib soon so they get used to it, but as it is now it's just easier to do whatever is necessary to get them to sleep.  hope you are well & thanks again for the reply to my post!

My twins slept with me, one on each side of me so when they would wake up (they often woke up at different times) i would roll on to my side and breast feed the awake one. i could still doze while doing this, then when the other woke i would roll over and feed the other one with the opposite breast. After they started sleeping through the night they sleapt in one crib until they were about 9 months old then one was in a crib and one was in a play pen. hope that helps a bit
