What a hard thing having a CF child is huh? I don't know any of you women, yet I feel like I love you already. We have all shared in the devastation of having a child with an incurable disease. Through medicine, my 2 1/12 year old son has endured hospital stays, twice daily breathing treatments, a brain tumor scare, countless battles with insurance companies, tears and battles with getting treatment done, people staring as I "medicate" my child before each meal to become an energetic, crazy 2 year old. Quite an adventure isn't it? And yet, we do everything we can to keep these kiddos healthy despite the cost, time, emotional upset, and all the other crap that comes along with it because they are SO dang precious! Looking forward to sharing and receiving advice on dealing with this disease.
