As a mom with Crohns disease I faced some difficult parts during my pregnancies and after. Offline I don't kow any moms with Crohns or IBD. It's hard for the other moms I do know to relate to me when I'm having disease related issuses that affect my mothering. Of course there is also the guilt and worry about the fact that my children could get this and it would be my fault. Irrational? Yes, but still there. When I'm flaring up and feel like I can barely care for myself let alone 2 kids and a boyfriend. I'm hoping to find other Moms who understand the unique circumstances involved in being a mom with IBD.

I have to say for myself so far it's been running to the bathroom every 10 minutes while trying to take care of a newborn and a toddler. Very............ what's the word I'm looking for........ lets just say exhausting.
