There is a new community here on Circle of Moms called "Custody Issues". It is meant to be helpful to anyone who is, has, or will be going through any process involving child custody.

I am new here today 9-9-09. I have my grandson have had him since birth. My daughter moved out on her own and parties hardy. All she does is party. We have call DCF and are currently waiting for their decision to pursue with an attorney to place him in our custody till she can get through some programs to help her or to have him adoptable to us. I was a foster parent for many years and know that the system is very slow and taxing on the nerves. Florida is always slow on taking care of kids.
