If you go to www.angelfoodministries.com and under "Find A Host" put in your zip code. Churches w/i a 20 mile (or more) radius who host this AWESOME PROGRAM will come up. You choose one of the hosts and click on Buy Online. They take food stamps or debit or credit cards online. You pay by dates that vary by month & site, usually the 2nd Monday of that month. You are paying anywhere from $22-$35 for roughly $65 worth of TOP SHELF FOOD! Delicious, seasoned fish, veggies, chicken, steak, teryaki stir-fry, ect., ect. (in the Signature box that's always $30, it's enough to feed a family of 4 for 1 week.) There are no forms to fill out, nothing to qualify for, no utility bills to bring. If you can't do it online, then take a check or money order by the host site by that deadline, or mail it in. Deadlines vary by how you pay and I believe there is a small, maybe $3 convienance fee for online pay, but it's so worth it. They also have Senior Citizen/convienance boxes and allergen free boxes. Also available are fruit & veggie boxes, steak boxes, grill boxes, they even had a premium seafood box in feb. for $35! It's not a hand out, just a hand up! Only thing is, you'd need a little freezer space available if you wanted 1 months worth, but you can always check with friends, or family or church members or possibly rent a freezer.
