I am a mom to 7 year old twin girls and a 3 month old girl. I have had pain issues for some time but just dealt with it...now I can not. At night when the baby cries I can not get up to get her because my feet and legs hurt so bad. My back hurts, neck, wrist, and fingers. Also some areas are so to touch like my upper arms. All of this is very real to me but I feel like it too much for others to believe. Am I crazy? I can't walk well so this can't all be in my head.

I took the first steps...I told my doctor and I found you.

I have a 6 and a 9 y old, I started having pain a little bit more than a year ago it started like a weight(pressure on my shoulders and my neck, ) My family Doctor, thought it was only stress or so, but then about 1 month after, I felt like I had caught some kind of flu, but woke the next morning not being able to move much and with pain everywhere. I went to the hospital that day, and blood test showed that my ESR (inflammation level) was very high, and so were some kind of proteins, ...So it was not stress !!!

What I want to say is that, you are not crazy, have your doctor do some bloodwork, and see if you need to take medications, to make this easier on yourself.

I also know what you mean about people around you not believing you, my father still is trying to make me admit that I bring this on myself that there is something wrong in my life I need to change, that I have too get up and give myself, a kick in the B"""". ...

It makes me so mad, that he thinks I would make all my little family suffer and miss out on life, for an imaginary illness........I don't think any mother could do that to her family..

Good Luck and take care of yourself,

YOU ARE NOT CRAZY!!!

I remember when my feet first began to hurt.  I thought it was my new sandals.  Three weeks later and unable to walk, I was a little more skeptical.  Looking back I realize how much pain I had that I disregarded, especially my neck.  You're taking the right steps and don't give up.  My primary care told me he thought I had "hand, foot, and mouth".....turns out it was Rheumatoid Arthritis.  You know how you feel so keep at it.
