I have 4 tats and they are all art to me. My boyfriend was there with me when I got my last one done and he said that just watching me get mine turned him on. His fav tho is the butterfly I have tatted on my inner hip just above my happy place. He goes crazy when he sees it. I think tats are very sexy and after I got my last one done my man got de-virginized and got his first. Everytime I see it I want him that much more so I totally agree on the sexy thing.
Also to the haters dont hate me because you aint me.

Ha Ha! I love it!

I have been obsessed with tattoos ever since I can remember, I told my mom I wanted a tattoo when I was 16 and she said 'over my dead body' That was the challenge I needed, told her I would get one when I was older, and she would pay for it.
My mom paid for my first tattoo for my 19th bday! ;-)

10 years on I have added a couple more to the collection and in the process of getting my 3/4 sleeve finished and my mother loves every single one of them.

I agree!!! I am a 36 year old woman with two children (6 and almost 4) and 14 tattoos and MY MOM is the worst one for me!!! Even though we are very close - this is a very sore subject. On the beach one day with my parents, my children, my brother and his family - my mother asked my 9 year old nephew what he thinks I'm going to look like when I'm old and wrinkly with tattoos - he didn't respond - so I asked him the same question about her with a stinky cigarette hanging out of her mouth - she hasn't said another word about it since!!! LOL I've gotten to the point that I just don't care what anyone else thinks about me and my tattoos!!!!!! I love them and I'm not going to stop getting them if I feel the need (which, as we all know - once you start - you can't stop!)!!

i actually have had more dirty looks and rude comments coming from people under 15... or over 80.. had a 9 yr old tell me i was an idiot for getting tattoos because it was going to look ugly when i was old.. told her well i don't plan to live that long...

Ashley it's just not older women that can be judgmental. Young ones look at me a tattoo round short 40 something and make comments that can be cruel, disrespectful, and just plain mean. As a society we are all very judgmental. Any time something different outside of our normal as human being we tend to make judgments. the goal is life to is recognize behavior in other that we do not like, then turn the mirror inwards and make certain that we are not modeling the same behavior. Tattoos are sexy and beautiful and so are older tattooed round short women
