I've only just discovered bumper-cars and I'm 29!
They are friggin awesome!
My boyf thinks I'm a nutter, but I LOVE it, can't wait until my son starts liking them too, then we can destroy people together.
Also spent my boyf's bday chomping through my candy necklace and watch, him looking at me and shaking his head in disbelief.

My point? Age is a number, enjoy yourself, and if you fancy expressing yourself with some amazing artwork - DO IT!

I took my Mother in law for her 1st tatt when she turned 50. You are never to old for tattoo's. Tattoo's are a beautiful way to express yrself & sometimes honour people you love or have lost.

NNNNNNEEEEEEVVVVVVEEEEEERRRRRR!!!!!!! If you want a tattoo after you die remember to put it in your will! Seriously though, a tattoo is a personal choice to express yourself artistically and creatively. I've seen an old wrinkled lady (like, 70s-80s?) with a walker shopping with vibrant purple hair. I made a point to tell her it was a lovely shade of purple and looked great!

I got my first tat for my 40th birthday, and my second on my 41st birthday - I am planning to get a new one every birthday (at least) until I have had enough - am planning to have at least four more......... you are never too old for anything - as they say "everyone grows old, but growing up is optional,,,,," LOL x

I can't say that it's possible to be too old to get a tattoo.. Not like once you turn 55 they're all going to just fall off. They're pretty much on there for life.

Too young for a tattoooooo... Well, that's a different story. ;)

Is Dead an age?
If it is then that should definitely be the limit for tats.

I like what that other person said-art knows no age limits. So true!!! Get a tattoo, go for it, you're never too old! I'm almost 21, have 6 tattoos, and they day i'm done is the day i can no longer speak to tell what i want ! :)

I don't believe in someone being too old for a tattoo.....i didn't get my first one till i was 30, now 3 years later I have 21 tatts. I love them and do them on occasion.

You're never too old for a tattoo. As long as it's something you want to do, don't worry about your age:-) I'll be getting tattoos until I'm old and senile.

Hi Robin,

I don't think there is any right or wrong answer to your question to be honest with you. I personally am 40yrs old and I am planning on having at least two more done (one of which will cover approximately half of my back). I have seen people of many different ages in shops getting tattoos now. If you ever watch LA Ink the demographic isn't just young hipsters anymore. I think you must do what you want and since you already have tatts and know you like them (especially since you got one 5yrs ago) I say whenever you can get another GO FOR IT. Have a great day and a Happy New Year.

I'm 50 in May - I have 5 tats, the last one in September - I'm planning another next year for my birthday - if they're tasteful I don't think there's an upper age to get one done

It is never to old or to young. tats aren't for everybody and just be sure of what you want before you get it.

In my opinion you are never too old for a tattoo...it all depends on the placement though, I suggest "bony" areas like the ankle, shoulder, etc because the skin is less likely to sag :) but it's your body, enjoy your body art :)

For me I think that we are all going to end up in retirement homes someday and pretty much everyone will have big holes hanging from the ears and we will all be tatted up. I dont think there should be an age limit for tattoos well except the under 18 part. So I say Get what ya want and show it off proudly!!!!

Oh no way...their is no cut off age girl. The older u are the more certain of what you want!! In this day and age, everyone has tattooos so when we are old we wont give too hoots wot we look like as everyone will b inked too!

In my eyes you are never to old. I am 38 and have 7 and counting. I got my first at 19 then my second at 33 then the rest after 35 so go for it.

My grandmother got her first tattoo when she was in her 60's. In my opinion, there's no cut off age.
