Inner wrist tattoos?

Hey i have a tattoo on the back of my neck which is my eldest daughters name, i also have one on my left shoulder which has my brother and 3 sisters names on, i have one at the base of my spine and i have one on my left wrist (the outer side, not inner!) now i want my youngest daughters name on the inside of my right wrist and im wondering how painful it is, im also not good with veins and sometimes i cringe at the thought of having an inner wrist tattoo done!!

I am considering my son's name on inner wrist.... failed to consider my veins, & I have very prominent veins there.... thanks for the heads up

i have both ov my inner wrists done nd personally dey didnt hurt at all they wer da least painful ov all my tattoos x

I have both of my inner wrists done and they didn't hurt.... I have the Chinese symbol for Ox (the year my son was born) on my right wrist and the Chinese symbol for Tiger (the year I was born) on my left wrist. I also have a tat on the back of my neck (my zodiac sign with stars), on the left side of my chest (Hawaiian flower with tribal), each shoulder blade (my child’s name on the right and an ex’s little boy on my right), and my lower back (tribal). The one on my chest is the one that hurt the most, but it starts on my shoulder bone and goes down towards the center of my chest. The tats on my wrist didn’t bother me at all!!

It is painful but neck is MUCH more painful so if you could handle it you can handle inner wrist!! Good luck!

I have both of my inner wrists tattooed, and like you i have a problem with veins, i get sick to my stomach if someone touches them ect. (which is odd since my hubby is a paramedic lol) however i was just fine, i mean its not the best feeling in the world and i could not watch but i lived LOL good luck hun

I have my sons name in symbols on the inside of my wrist it's only thin lines n basic but it didn't hurt at all

I have an inner wrist tattoo and the only part that was a little painful was closer to my hand..but other then that no pain

I have one on both of my wrists and I didn't feel a thing. I watched grumpy old men the entire time I was getting tatto'd.

hi i had 4 stars tattooed on my inner wrist with twirly comet going thru them and it went over my vains etc and it didnt hurt at all but it does depend on your pain threhold

I dont have a high tolerance for pain, but i got both my inner wrists tattooed with my kids names, birthdates and a heart and it wasnt to bad.. the middle bit hurt the most. i always thought that it would cut into my wrist or something like that, but its completely fine.. nothing compared to child birth :)

i have my oldest sons name tattooed on the inside of my left wrist an im not going to lie it did hurt but it wasnt that bad. an now i am saveing the money up to get his foot print above his name an my other sons name an foot print on my right arm.

to be honest i had my inner wrist tattooed and i thought it was going to be soo painful because im boney lol but on my right inner wrist it didnt hurt AT all it was amazing! then when he did my left it hurt WAY worse! i think it may be because im right handed but i cant be too sure!

Every person is different. It all comes down to pain tolerance; how high yours is. I had both my inner wrists done; a treble clef on my right wrist and a bass clef on my left. It burned at bit at first but I would rate it an honest 3/10. My pain tolerance is quite high though. Near the end of it though, my wrists started to get irritated and that's when the pain started to get stronger. It ended at about an honest 6/10 for me. Again- my pain tolerance is extreme. I weighed 525lbs when I had my daughter and so they had to do my Csection above my bellybutton and my nurses would only give me a stupid piddly Tylenol 3 once each day. Those things don't do much for me to begin with. So instead of the regular 1 layer of muscle to go through, my doctors had to go through 4! WAY more pain! But I delt with it very very well they said. I was up walking a bit later that night and I was walking around the hospital the next day. They said other women that had the same type of surgery for birth as me weren't walking until the 4th day. So again- my pain tolerance is at a good high. I say with the amount of tats you have had done- go for it. All good tattoo artists will stop if you need a small break. It DOES feel a bit weird when they tattoo over the vein. I could feel it shaking my vein! LOL Weird feeling, not painful though. But I say go for it. :) Goodluck!!!

I have my sons b-days and zodiac signs on the inside of my right wrist and the only part that hurt was right on the bone under the thumb... But it didn't so much as hurt as it was more uncomfortable... I say if it's for the kids, Go for it!! It'll be worth it! :-)

well in the end i had erins name done just above my ankle and my eldests initials done on the inside of my right wrist and my youngests done on the inside of my left wrist, i must say it wasn't actually that bad, bit niggly in places, the one above my ankle hurt more! x

I have my daughters name tattooed on the inside of my wrist. It didn't hurt. It was my 5th tattoo and it was the least painful of them. Goodluck

I have both wrists done and i found that out of all of my tattoos and I have a few that my wrists were the easiest to do I say go for it and enjoy!!!!

I have my right inner wrist done, right over my vein. It didn't hurt at all compared to others that I've gotten done. But as others have said, it depends on your pain tolerance to. Because my best friend got one on her left inner wrist the same time I got mine and she said it was kind of painful.

i guess it just depends....i have my inner right wrist tattooed and both outer wrists but then again i have over 45 different pieces of art. for me they arent that painful but i go to a shop that works with you.....my artists there let me bring in my own music and it helps to just zone out but still focus on the reasons behind my tats and that helps with the pain...kinda like having that focal point durring labor gives you something else to concentrate on other than the pain. good luck and i say go for it!!!!

I found my wrist hurt more than any others ive had but in saying that the pain wasn't that bad !

there are some spots that are just more painful than others... I have one on my inner forearm and a small part reaches down to my wrist, and part of it hurt on my wrist, but then part of it on my wrist didn't. It just depends on the area and your level of pain tolerance.

I have both my inner wrists done - left is my daughter's astrological sign with lady bugs and right is my son's sign with shamrocks - I got them both done at the same time and they are kinda big, I don't personally think they hurt any worse than any of the others that I have, and I have 13 others. GO FOR IT!!! and let me know how it turns out!!! :)
