when my i was prego i wanted a boy so bad when we found out that it was going to be a girl i cried. Then came to reality and had to think of a name. I didnt want her to go to school and have a few class mates to have the same name as hers so i picked Shailyn (Shea-lynn) Reigh (Ray). One of the other name i cane up with was Nathalia (Na-thal-ya) Madisen... Good luck i hope you get your girl!!
I've always loved the name Autumn Rayne. My sister is naming her daughter Jordyn, and my neice will be Elodie Noelle. All unique. My girls are Abigail Rose and Kaitlyn Grace. We call them Abbi and Kaiti! Congrats and have fun, but try to remember they will be adults one day and want to love their name too!

There are endless possibilities for names, especially these days when they get more imaginative each year! It really comes down to something that means something to you. Some people take two names and hybridize them, like their own names put together. My brother-in-law has my father-in-law and husband's names together, Lane and Brandon to make Landon. If we did it we could do something like Jesdon or Jandon, but for our son we ended up with Kai. Neither of us liked the names the other had picked out, so since we were living in Japan we chose a Japanese name that would be easy to spell and pronounce. My son's name is Kai Mason (Mason just flows with it and was our top middle name), which means Ocean Stone. Names I had for girls were older names, Aurora Ginaveve, Deirdre Rose, and a family name was Lila (Lie-luh). Somethings we kept in mind were ease to say, spell and pronounce and how it would fit him throughout life, work, play and whatnot as well as how his initials lined up to spell. His initials are nothing, KMM. However one of the names I was looking at was Drake Alexander, which would spell DAM. My husband joked and said he could tease him about that's what he had said when we found out I was pregnant. Children are quite imaginative and so we also kept in mind things that could easily rhyme or be manipulated to be made fun of. I mean even Jessica Pickens once became Jessucker Pickernose... The things kids do sometimes makes you roll your eyes. I'm sure any name could be picked on some how, but we tried not to make it easy.
Good Luck, you can also look online for "beautiful girl names" or "Unusual girl names" or just "girl names." You can pretty much find a list of any kind of name other than ones you make up online these days.

Congrats on pregnancy. My little girl is Abigail. We chose Abigail because we liked Abi as well. That was improtant to us having a name that can be shortened and still nice. I'm called Mel by most people and my son is Matthew or Matt xx

Hmmm. My husband, when we found out I was having a girl, decided he wanted to be able to call her Emmy B. and asked my to think of a first and middle name that would fit the nickname. So, we named her Emelia Brooke. I'm also a fan of old names like Elisa, Olivia, Marcella, etc.
i wanted a girl, but i'm having a boy. lol so i had a bunch of names picked out!
I like Aila, Asha, Marley, Sol, Rylan. maybe if u find the meaning of your sons name you can name ur daughter the opposite of that meaning! or the female name with the same meaning

I went with Caitlyn Mackenzie. Not to hard to spit out when she's in trouble and I love calling her Caty. Not too common spelling of the version Katie and others. I am extremely happy with her name and I have always loved mine although no one ever pronounces it right. Elisa Joanne (E-Lisa) the Joanne is a family name also. Put some thought in to whether or not she might get teased about it in school or have problems with pronunciation! Good luck and I hope you get your girl. A daughter is sooo much different than a boy. It's wonderful to have one on your side.

I have three girls called Autumn Jane, Willow Rose and Tally Morgan. I like unusual names but not names that may get picked on by other kids at school. Autumn is 10, Willow is 6 and Tally is 4 - so far I have only met with nice comments about my kids names. I also have 3 boys called Allistair Maurice (14), Kai Zachariah (9) and Sebastian David (8). I love the name Meadow for a girl as well.

I have two girls with boys names - Dani and Chandler. The first is actually Danielle Alison and we were going to call her Ali but she was just a Dani by personality! My second girl, Chandler, it just fit her from the start! My fourth baby, a boy we named Xander was going to be Sarah Ireland if he was a girl! Some other names I've thought about - Regan or Reegan and Bailey! Also, I always loved the name Alhora Dannon (not the right spelling though!) from the movie Willow! Good luck with your little ones!

I gave my two girls boys names. Ashton and Mason. We have come across a couple of other girls named Ashton but no other girls called Mason yet. One problem is when you tell people the kids name they think i have three sons (the other one is Jack)

Congratulations on your second pregnancy....Irish twins...how cool!!! As for a girl there are tons of names that are beautiful depending on what kind of names you like. If my son had been a girl the name would have been Olivia Michelle. My daughter's name is Natane (pronounced Nah-Tah-Neh) Micheala. I also like Laura, Laine, Elizabeth, Katherine, Carly, Leah, Danielle and tons more to mention. There are tons of websites dedicated to baby names, you can check by ethnicity or meaning. GOOD LUCK with the pregnancy and with your gorgeous little boy.

I named my daughter Nadia Madisyn. We wanted a name that was not on either side of the family or super popular for her first name. And we also liked Madison but put it as her middle name because it is really popular and changed the spelling to give it a unique twist.
Leyna is a pretty name. It means little angel.
Kortnee, Kirra, Norrah [if I have another girl I want to name her Norrah], Gemma... To name a few

i have 2 little girls and am preg again. my daughters are Harley Marie and Miley Rose and my hubby and i can't decide between lily or piper but my kids have names that are not found anywhere in either side of the family. i don't believe in giving my kids a name that is already in our family i believe give them their own name cuz as they grow they will be their own person. hope this helps

Any pretty names gals??
i think letting your son help in the naming helps avoid rivalry an sibling Jealousy..... One Name I'd Suggest is Isis, you don't see it alot. pick a name with meaning or ethnic ties.. Your child will ask "why did you name me........???" they always do.
You can also invision how that name looks as a tattoo or how unakward the name is when you yell at your child in a mall or at their events. A big one for me was how her name looked on a resumé good luck
