A 3 minute quick, non-messy 'project' for kids almost all ages (3 and up) to enjoy. They like showing this to their friends and at the same time they practise quite a number of things - how to follow instructions, they practise their muscles, they have to memorize the order of the steps and it's good for self esteem to be able to show your friend something new that you're able to do.

Enjoy!

Thanks! I work with 4- and 5-year olds at children's church. I have a child with only light perception and cerebral palsy. Always trying to do things with both hands because he will ignore his weaker hand so I had him plant some sunflowers and cucumber seeds in starter cups. We placed the soil, a plastic spoon and the cups in a big blue tub so the soil and water wouldn't get all over the place. It encouraged him to use both hands. Later as the plants sprouted he had a science fair project using the plants he planted!
