Hi Everybody,

I starting teaching a 2 yr old pre-school class at a local church when my youngest started kindergarten. I wanted to still be around young kids, but I didn't want to have any more. I am now teaching at my church. I teach a 3 yr old class. It's a blast, I wound up with all girls so you can imagine the drama. I also volunteer for my son's 2nd grade teacher. So, I don't know if I officially qualify for this group or not. My position is part-time. But believe me, I appreciate teachers!

I would say you qualify. People underestimate what our pre-school teachers do and what an effect you have on young children's lives. You give them that first taste of education, and you are very important!
