Hi Suzanne - I'm in a large public school with 28 ELL students - mostly K & 1st, a couple in 2nd & 3rd and a couple in 5th. Mine are a very diverse group from countries like Brazil, Japan, India, China, Sweden, etc. I absolutely LOVE my job! I especially love when a zero English student gets it!

Hi Maggie. We are a small school district. I have 10 Kindergarteners. 9 Spanish, 1 French. 2 1st graders, 2 3rd graders all of these children are Spanish.
I LOVE the kindergarteners. I thought it was going to be tough but they're great. We call the students ELL's also. But our program is called ESL. So how about your group?

Hi Suzanne - Great to meet someone else who teaches ESL kids (grades K-5) - we call it ELL here in Southeastern Michigan. We have a diverse group - how about you? I'd love to hear about your experiences as an ESL teacher.
