I am home for the important things in life...my family! Let me know if you want to be home AND earn money. I no longer have to go back to the classroom to teach...It's like having that extended summer that I've always wanted!

I was able to stay at home when my children were young and I thought that now they are in school I can go back to teaching. The hardest part was missing the moment they arrived home from school, I missed the excitement of hearing about their days. I think if I had been able to not work at all I might have enjoyed that all of their growing up years. I was also fortunate enough to have my mom be there for my children everyday, the next best thing. Now that I will be looking forward to grandchildren I will still be able to work, since I set my own hours in my work at home job and I will still be able to care for my grandchildren or at least help my daughter since she will probalby stay home too.

Stay at home as long as you possibly can. You are your child's best teacher now. You will be molding his/her character and personality. I am looking at retirement in about six years, but I would like to stay home and continue to earn some extra income. Any ideas for me?

i taught at a preschool but my husband and i decide that it would be easier and cheaper for me to stay home and that is what i wanted to do to. i always said if and w hen i had kids i was going to stay home
