Questions about rebuilding an old resume

Hello,
I have been out of the work force since 2001 and the only resume I wrote was in 1993. My question is this, when I list all the grade levels I have taught, do I really need bullets for each one describing what I did for each grade level? Some of them would be about the same, like first and second grade. I also have kindergarten and two different schools where I taught Title I reading. It seems like a lot to put on there and I have read where people say to keep the resume short. My husband thinks it is too much to put on there, but he isn't a teacher so I need advice from teachers. Any advice about resume writing is welcomed. Thanks!
Debbie

I decided to try a skills resume and used bullet points to highlight the most important things I did while teaching. Under that comprehensive section, I listed my job experience with a basic description of anything out of the ordinary or specialized that I did. Might be something to try.

Go to your local Workforce or JobForce Connection office and sit in on a free class about writing and presenting resume's.
Bullets sometimes do not transfer well in emails, so using a little indenting or bold lettering can serve the same purpose.
Have several resumes made up, a short highlight work history, education and reference on the front & back page. Yes I include my references with my resume'. It landed me a teaching job; it showed I was confident in resume' to represent who I am.
Good luck with the job hunt.

I don't think you need to explain every position in detail. If they are at different schools then you can explain what you did at different schools, but if you've been at the same school teaching different things then what I've done is just put what I've taught and for how long (you could even block them into primary/junior/intermediate for example).
