I always think I jip the dads a little. There are so many nice (read flowery or full of hearts) projects that I can do for mothers' day. For the past few years, I have had the kids write a poem about their mom and framed it along with their picture, then attached an artificial flower with the glue gun. Tough to equal in the way of fathers' day gifts.

What do you usually do?

I've done some tool box/dress shirt type booklets. i usually let the kids pick the theme that best suites their dad. Then for a gift i've done picture frames, or you can have them do a picture of themselves in computer lab with a poem they wrote and print it on magnet paper. I have also done a ceramic tile with their handprint and sealed it with polyurthene. Those were a big hit with my kids' grandpas.
