i taught special education at the elementary level. we had a developmental kindergarten that included kids from k-2 and was on its way to including grades 3 and 4 when i retired. not sure what is happening now in my district.

Taught 4th for 10 years, then wanted a change, so I opened a preschool for my church and taught/ran it for 3 years...that was enough for me. Went to 3rd for a year, then was a reading coach, now I'm back in 4th where I belong! :-)

I started in 3rd grade, taught first for 8 years, now back in 3rd. I miss the little ones, but like how much the third graders can do. It's just so much work to switch grades! I feel like a sub everyday because it's all new!
