Hello, I teach 4th grade. This will be my 4th year teaching. Yep a late bloomer. For 3 years I taught reading and science or social studies. This year I will be teaching science and social studies. I will miss reading, but am part of a Rice University program for elementary science and very excited.

I guess I'm a little different :) I teach EVERY single subject in middle and high school to students who have been arrested and are now in drug rehab! It's a challenge and no 2 days are the same - I love it!!!



I am also mom to 16 yr old daughter and 12 yr old son as well as having a 17 yr old stepson...I'm just a glutton for teenage abuse :)

I am a high school science teacher (9th grade earth science and 10 grade biology). Both of my children are grown (21 and 19). My daughter is a college senior out of state. She is spending the summer in Colorado for a volunteer position in archeological survey. My son is 19 and a new seaman in the US Navy (basic training graduation June 2009). He has started advanced training in Electronics in Great Lakes IL. I miss both of my children! And I am looking forward to starting my classes again in August!

I have a 6 yr old boy and many neices and nephews from ages 3 months to 9 1/2 yrs. I was a preschool (ages 3-5) teacher for 4 years, before that was an assistant in the preschool class for a year and taught all ages from 6 wks to 12 years before that. Now I am the Director of a whole daycare center licensed fro 98 children ages 6 wks to 12 years. Our center also includes universal pre-kindergarten, which is the most amazing program andy child could have in their area. I love children and the caring staff we have to teach them a range of skills, activities, emotions, and so on every day.
