Is anyone familiar with the "Your baby can read" program. Would you recommend it or not?

I heard it was wonderful, if you're persistent. If you're not a "stick to it" kind of person, then don't waste them money. My nephew (whose two) is doing really well with it.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. It makes sense that consistency would be key as it is for all learning.

I have the program and it tought my 23 month old words like reach and he understood the meaning of it. He also could do the flashcards pretty well...even without seeing the pictures, but he is 2 1/2 now and we have since stopped using the program due to moving and trying to settle into a new home. Maybe we will pick it back up. I feel that it is a good program, but I was reluctant at first.

We actually bought this program for our kids and were never really good about using. They liked watching them, but I wasn't consistent with it.

I have since let my assistant teacher borrow it for her 1 year old neice and says it seems to be working somewhat. She also says her daughter is showing it to her 2 month old.

I think if I had been more consistent it would have produced more results. Hope this helps.

I never heard of it..

but I feel that the child has his all life to learn, and he does learn when he's still a baby: learn to love, play, interact... so why rush him!

by the way, he's adorable!
