Help I need to know how to knit. I have a problem with the yarn slipping off of the needle.

I was taught 3 years ago and forgot how to knit and have alot of yarn. I want to make these fantastic dishrags that last along time and are so wonderful to clean with. I crotchet better than knit but some things look better knitted. Is there an easier way to knit?

have you tried youtube?? they have lots of informative videos. It might jog your brain just enough.
