I was wondering if anyone has put their child with DS on the Nutrivene Supplement. I having been looking for information, but I thought I would find out from someone with first hand experience.

I just recently started looking into that too, but I talked to my daughter's therapist and she knew a familiy that used special vitamin infections for kids with DS that cost $1000 ea. but she said she could not see a significant change that would justify that money. I researched a little myself and I decided that a good vitamin supplement must be beneficial even if it just prevents infections and allow the child to focus on the development. Also, every formula has the Dha added and that is a brain stimulator. I give Sophie #2 baby foods that have that as well and she is soo active and wanting to learn and jibba jabba that I think she is doing very well with that. So far the therapist is very happy with her development too! Just be aware that some vitamins can be toxic if overdosed!
