I am 29 my husband is 35 I have two great kids from my first marriage but want to have another baby with my new husband who has no children of his own. We have been trying 7months now and no luck he has been tested and that came back fine. My obgyn will not do any testing until we have been trying a year. I guess what I am wanting to know is how everyone else is dealing with infertility and is there any pointers anyone may have for me.

Thanks
KRISTIN

Hi Kristin. I know this road is a tough one for you, but don't give up hope. 7 months seems like for ever (& if you don't concieve by the year mark make sure to get right in) but I know first hand it can be done well after the year mark. It took my dh & I 1 year & 9 months to conceive our ds. We did test at the year mark, all normal on both sides and we couldn't aford to do more. Tried clomid for one month, didn't work. Luckly some how it happened on its own. & it wasn't from relaxing, I did none of that lol. It doesn't help the sanity though. Now we have been trying for #2 for 1 year & 5 months. Been through 1 failed IVF cycle & I'm about to start another cycle.
This might be a stupid question, but do you know your ovulation times yet? If not there are many ways to find out. I know some if you want info. For me the best way to deaal with things was to know all I could about TTC. It made me feel better that I was atleast giving it all I could. I wish you lots of luck & it you are feeling worried in a couple of months & it still hasn't happened maybe you could see for your obgyn could get you in a little early. GL
